This book is a sweet story of a little girl taking care of a teddy bear.  Even as a budgeter, it is a good lesson for children of delayed gratification.

This book is the perfect one for big sisters that are a little exasperated with their baby brothers (or sisters, for that matter). Abbie loves this book and we have taken it out several times from the library - and she doesn't even have a baby brother! This book has such sweet pictures, such a realistic mother, and such a loving ending.
